Three years ago I created the first Santa Barbara County Budget Basics video. I created the video as a response to general comments that the budget book was too large to understand. While the budget book has a summary section in it, I thought it would be a good idea to visualize the summary as a gateway to the rest of the budget book. The video previews each functional group, its overall budget, the general fund contribution it receives, and key accomplishments from the previous year.
